Hi, my name is Karin, and I’m a licensed psychotherapist with years of global experience. I work with individuals to create better lives and enhance their well-being, particularly those navigating relocation, immigration, and nomadic lifestyles.
I was born and raised in Israel. Later I moved to New York, Panama, and Lisbon. I gave birth to two of my children in New York and one in Lisbon. I studied in New York and spent years traveling the world, including Africa, India, Nepal, Europe, North America, and Central America.
Over the past year and a half, being Jewish in the world has taken on new meaning, bringing unique challenges. This shift has also sparked a significant movement of people deciding to make Aliyah.
In my private practice, I work with individuals navigating the challenges of making Aliyah. This inspired me to create a group that offers a safe, supportive space for people to connect, share, and cultivate a sense of belonging. Together, we’ll establish a stable, warm anchor during the week. This group is a space where we can grow, learn, and rediscover the feeling of home – together.
This group isn’t just another support group – it’s a unique, professionally guided journey created specifically for Olim Hadashim. With years of experience working with new immigrants and being an immigrant myself, I truly understand the challenges you face: cultural adaptation, language barriers, feelings of isolation, and the deep longing for a sense of belonging.
This group provides a safe and supportive space where you’ll receive:
Gain from my professional psychological expertise and hands-on experience working with Olim
Receive tailored tools and strategies to meet your unique emotional and practical needs, both as an individual and within the group
Build a supportive community with people who understand your journey firsthand
The group is an online Circle where you can connect with others experiencing similar challenges as you navigate making Aliyah. You’ll receive emotional support, professional tools, and guidance on managing the emotional and cultural aspects of starting life in Israel.
The group will meet online for 8 weeks, with sessions held once a week. Each session lasts 2.5 hours.
